BOSTON (January 23, 2011) - Cheryl Lott of Leominster, Mass., won a $25,000 prize after participating in the Mass. State Lottery’s $25,000 Parquet Floor Challenge at the Boston Celtics game against the Phoenix Suns on January 20th. Lott won the opportunity to vie for the cash prize, which was presented by Lottery Executive Director Paul Sternburg, after being randomly selected as a grand prize winner in the Celtics Cash instant game Second Chance Bonus Drawing.

In the “$25,000 Parquet Floor Challenge”, 10 oversized Celtics Cash instant tickets were placed at center court. Each ticket was numbered 1-10; nine of the tickets had a $10,000 prize, and one ticket had a $25,000 prize. Lott selected ticket number 3 which netted her the $25,000 prize.

Celtics Cash, the third instant ticket offering from the Mass. State Lottery and the Boston Celtics, was launched in September 2010. The $2 ticket, which sold out last fall, offered fans a chance to instantly win up to $25,000 and 5 chances to play the “Parquet Floor Challenge” at a Boston Celtics Home Game to win up to $25,000. In addition, 255 Boston Celtics Suite and Court Experience Prizes and 4,450 Celtics Gear Prizes will be awarded. The drawing was the second Challenge to take place to date; additional Challenges will be scheduled throughout the season.
