When we won at the Staples Center against Lakers. We fought all game, and we deserved to win. But as I have found out over the last few years on the road, the best team doesn’t always win. That is when I think things changed for us.

We’ve had a lot of big wins since I’ve been here, but the one down at Miami on March 25 was probably a turnaround for us from the standpoint of how we play defense. That night we got it done on the defensive end of the floor, and defense wins playoff series.

I have to say the biggest game was at New Jersey. That was a playoff atmosphere type game. We were getting bad calls on our end, and Antoine had fouled out, so we had to call on some more guys to step up that normally aren’t asked to. And of course, that was a big breakout game for Paul.

At Miami on November 27, because we were on e four-game skid and Miami normally plays us tough. It was just one of those gut-checking type of wins we needed to have. And because of what happened after the fact, that is the game that got us going and thinking that we could shoot for the Eastern Conference title.

Recap | Box Score
At Memphis, we were down seven or eight points with only a minute and a half left, we thought we were going to lose. That was big. But for me, I am going to have to go with the New York Knicks at the Garden in December. ‘toine hit the big shot to send it to OT. We really got it going that night.
