Pierce, Szczerbiak "Day-to-Day" After Raptors Game

Paul Pierce and Wally Szczerbiak are both listed as "day-to-day" after sustaining injuries in Friday night's 106-102 loss in Toronto.

According to Celtics trainer Ed Lacerte, Pierce has been diagnosed with right elbow bursitis and Szczerbiak suffered a sprained left ankle. Pierce was hurt on a drive to the basket in the third quarter but returned to the game. Szczerbiak came down awkwardly on his ankle in the rebounding action after the final shot of the game, but after getting up slowly, he walked off the court without assistance.
