Pre-Draft Workout Interview: Rajon Rondo
Celtics.com: How did you think the workout went today?
Rondo: "I think it went well. I shot the ball well, and it was competitive on the one-on-one and two-on-twos. It was a good workout I think."
Celtics.com: Where else have you worked out?
Rondo: "I worked out for Phoenix the other day and Houston right before that. I've got the Washington Wizards tomorrow."
Celtics.com: Do you pay attention to the mock-drafts? Some guys like them, other guys avoid them.
Rondo: "Not at all. I've just got to come in and do what I do best and everything will work out. Nobody really knows until June 28."
Celtics.com: Is there anything you feel you need to work on in your game after going through these workouts?
Rondo: "I was very competitive in every workout I've had, but they've got a lot of film on me over the last few years so they know what I am capable of doing."
Celtics.com: What did you think of the run at the end?
Rondo: "It was tough, but I thought it would be a lot tougher. My goal was to beat 27; I didn't get it but I got close. It's a great run; it's a great thing they do here."
Celtics.com: And what about coming in here and seeing all of the banners and retired numbers?
Rondo: "This is the place to be. This would be a dream come true and I'd love to come play for the Celtics."
