Celtics.com: How did the workout go today for you?
Douby: "It went pretty good. This was my second workout. I'm just trying to get into the rythym of things, doing a lot of different things for each team. I'm trying to adjust to that and trying to go hard through everything."
Celtics.com: Who else did you work out for?
Douby: "I worked out for the Knicks before this one, two days ago."
Celtics.com: How did the Celtics workout compare to New York's?
Douby: "This one was a little more conditioning, and a lot more running. That three minute running drill, they just want to see how in shape you are. It was a little bit tougher, and now I've just got to get ready for the next one."
Celtics.com: What's the scouting report on you? What do you think you bring to the table?
Douby: "Great shooting ability, a will to win. I've still got room to improve because I started playing ball real late. I've only been playing organized ball for about five years now."
Celtics.com: How did you get into basketball then?
Douby: "My high school coach was telling me about the benefits of playing ball and getting a free education. I ended up playing two years, my junior and senior year of high school. I began developing quickly, catching up to the big time names, I got to a Big East school and then just continued to develop quickly."
Celtics.com: What about playground ball?
Douby: "I'd played some, just shooting around, but I never understood the game and never played with referees until my junior year of high school. I'm from New York, but I never played at Rucker or anything. Hopefully in the future I can do that."
Celtics.com: After the workout, do you feel there are things you need to work on?
Douby: "That's always going to happen when you're new to the game. You'll just pick up something or see something that you can improve on. I'm all about improving to get my game to that next level."
Celtics.com: How do you stay prepared mentally for the draft workout process?
Douby: "Just try to drink a lot of water, stay hydrated, eat real well, get a lot of sleep. Just be real confident and try not to stress yourself out too much. That can hurt you."
