Corralling The Comeback Kid

Iverson had 29 points in Game 2
Steve Lipofsky
Historically, Allen Iverson has bounced back from sub-par scoring night rather well. In his 42-game post-season career, he has scored 20 points or less just 8 times. In the follow-up games, he has scored at least 25 points on all but two occasions and climbed above the 30-point mark four times.

He did top the 25-point mark on Thursday night at the FleetCenter, but the Celtics held him to his lowest point total in the first two games of a playoff series since Games One and Two of the Charlotte series in 1999 – the first post-season series of his career.
Here is a look at Iverson’s sub-par scoring performances and how he rebounded the next game.
