Alpha Omega Named Official Jeweler To The Boston Celtics

America’s premiere watch and jewelry retailer forms partnership with NBA legendary franchise organization.

Boston, MA (November 30, 2004)- Alpha Omega Jewelers, America’s Watch & Diamond Specialists, announced that it has been selected as the Official Jeweler of the Boston Celtics for the 2004-2005 season. This is the first time the ball club has formed an alliance with a jeweler. As the Celtics’ official jeweler, Alpha Omega will be working together with the Team on various promotional and community initiatives. Alpha Omega will also maintain a strong presence at home-court Celtics games via advertising and sponsorships.

As part of their relationship, the Celtics basketball franchise and Alpha Omega will join forces to increase awareness about the Boston Celtics’ Shamrock Foundation. The Shamrock Foundation’s mission is to extend the reach of the Celtics championship legacy into the New England Community. The Shamrock Foundation partners with New England-based community organizations that provide healthcare, shelter and vital services for children in need. To support the Foundation, Alpha Omega has created a commemorative pin and will donate all proceeds to the Shamrock Foundation. The small, circular silver-plated pin features a replica of the Shamrock Foundation logo, complete with a green Celtics shamrock in the center and retails for $10. The pin is available for purchase by the general public exclusively at Alpha Omega’s four store locations.

“We are thrilled to work with Alpha Omega as a team sponsor and appreciate their support of the Shamrock Foundation,” said Rich Gotham, Celtics Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. “We look forward to a longstanding relationship with Alpha Omega.”

In addition to the $10 Shamrock Foundation pin, Alpha Omega created a one of kind piece for the Celtics Shamrock Foundation Opening Night Gala on November 8th. The piece was included in the Gala’s live auction and all proceeds were donated to the Shamrock Foundation. This exclusive pin is shaped like a shamrock and covered in pave set, diamond cut emeralds.

“We at Alpha Omega are proud to work together with such a great organization as the Boston Celtics and look forward to contributing to the amazing charitable work they do for our great city,” said Nidhi Handa, Director of Stores at Alpha Omega Jewelers.
