BOSTON, MA (February, 17, 2005) - Boston Celtics forward Al Jefferson replaces Charlotte Bobcats forward Emeka Okafor (left ankle sprain) in the 2005 got milk? Rookie Challenge to be held Friday, February 18 at Pepsi Center in Denver.

Jefferson, the 10th Celtic to appear in the got milk? Rookie Challenge joins teammate Tony Allen, making them the third pair of Celtics who have appeared in the game (Paul Pierce/Adrian Griffin in 2000 and Chauncey Billups/Ron Mercer in 1998). The 15th overall selection in the 2004 NBA Draft is averaging 6.9 points, on 51.9 percent shooting from the floor, to go along with 4.7 boards in 15.7 minutes per game. Jefferson ranks 3rd among rookies in field goal percentage, 6th in blocks and 8th in rebounds per game. The 6-10 forward notched his 3rd career double-double with a career-high 17 points to go along with 10 boards vs. Chicago on January 19.
