Third Annual Toys For Tots Ticket Auction
For the third straight season, Celtics GM Chris Wallace is offering up his personal seats for some of the most attractive games on the schedule to raise money for the Toys for Tots program. These are games he will miss due to out of town scouting commitments.
The seats are in Section 12, Row 8, 16-19 (next to the aisle) directly across from the Celtics bench. The seats cost $140 each, and four seats will be available for each designated game. Unlike the past two ticket auctions, there will be games available in November and early December.
The 13 games feature some exciting teams and players in the NBA – the offensive fireworks of the Sacramento Kings, the young and gifted Chicago Bulls, rookie sensation Lebron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers, Eastern Conference power New Orleans, Pau Gasol and the up and coming Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota with mega-star Kevin Garnett, Mr. Defense/Rebounder Ben Wallace and the Detroit Pistons, the Orlando Magic featuring the sensational Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming, Steve Francis and the Houston Rockets, new Celtic rival New Jersey featuring the NBA's best point guard in Jason Kidd as well as traditional rival Philadelphia led by the one and only Allen Iverson, and, yes, the Lakers lone appearance in Boston on March 10 is included.
Anyone interested in these exciting Celtics home games should send an email, including game, amount bid, address and phone number to toys@celtics.com . We will keep you updated on the status of the leading bids. The checks for all winning bids should be made out to Toys for Tots.
What a winning combination – great seats for some of the best Celtics home games and an opportunity to make a deserving child happy on Christmas morning!
The opening bid for all games (four seats available for each game) is $560.
