Celtics Fall To Lakers In OT Thriller
Allen's 22 Points Not Enough
Boston had its chances against the Lakers Thursday night but couldn't convert on two buzzer-beaters, eventually falling 88-87 in overtime at TD Garden. Ray Allen led the way for the C's with 22 points.
Paul Pierce played well, turning in 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, but missed a potential game-winning shot in the final moments of overtime. Kevin Garnett added 12 points and 12 rebounds.
