Gerald Wallace, regarded as the Bobcats' best defender, got into early foul trouble, left the game for much of the first half, and the 'Cats never recovered.
Wallace picked up his second personal at the 6:29 mark of the first quarter with the Celtics leading 14-8. The Celtics then went on a 15-6 run over the next five minutes, and Charlotte was stuck trying to play catch-up for the rest of the night.
