Celtics Dancers
Debuting this season is the first-ever dance team, the aptly named Celtics Dancers. The team performs at all regular season Celtics home games and makes several appearances at community events and functions throughout the year.
Lucky
One of the sports world's most famous icons, Lucky is the official mascot of the Boston Celtics. And he's also one of the NBA's best slam-dunking mascots, renowned league-wide for his high-flying acrobatics. More than just a game-night feature, Lucky makes countless community appearances each year throughout New England.
Southwest Airlines Green Team
Keep your eyes open at every Celtics home game for the Southwest Airlines Green Team! Whether it's on-court stunting, T-shirt tosses or prize giveaways, the Green Team is always there to get you fired up for the home team! The Green Team thrives on the energy of Celtics fans and takes pride in making sure you walk away from Celtics games with a fun experience for the whole family!
Interactive Programs
Want to get "some skin" from Paul Pierce or stand on the court during player introductions? The Celtics have several programs designed to help bring players and fans together including The High Five Kids, Courtside Kids and Honorary Ball Kids.
Lil' Phunk
Lil' Phunk is in their first season as the official Celtics junior dance troupe. Performing at about 10 games per year, Lil' Phunk earns rave reviews with their high energy dance and acrobatics. The 23 member squad consists of children ages 5-13 and is managed by Reia Connor of the Phunk Phenomenon Dance Theater in Everett, MA.
Phunk Phenomenon
Phunk Phenomenon is in their 4th season as the Celtics official dance troupe. Performing at selected games, Phunk wows the Garden crowd with their high energy hip hop and break dancing style. The 22 member squad is managed by Reia Connor of the Phunk Phenomenon Dance Theater in Everett, MA.
Half-time Entertainment
Half-time at the Garden is no time to visit the restroom or concession stands. At most Celtics games, half-time means entertainment, featuring diverse offerings such as recording artists, acrobats, dancers and many more.
Time-out Promotions
During breaks in the action the on-court fun is often just beginning. Celtics fans can win cash and prizes in a wide variety of promotions and contests at every game. Crowd favorites include Sierra Mist "Movie Moments", Foxwoods "Take A Shot", TD BankNorth "Above and Beyond Seat Upgrade" and many others.
Celebrity Sightings
You never know who you'll spot at a Celtics game. Members of the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox and Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots are frequent visitors as are actors, musicians and other celebrities.
