Is this the deepest draft ever? We won't have a definitive answer until these prospects have a chance to prove themselves in the NBA, but the questions certainly seems a valid one now that the official NBA early entry list has been finalized. Thanks to a highly talented freshman class, the decision of three Florida Gators to return to school last year for their junior season and some elite international prospects, this draft is certainly long on talent.
The Celtics are in an enviable position. The C's are guaranteed a Top 5 pick. And while Kevin Durant and Greg Oden have dominated the 2007 draft headlines, this draft is not just two players deep. Many NBA talent evaluators feel there are many future NBA All-Stars in this year's draft class and the Celtics are poised to grab one of them regardless of where they draft.
Celtics.com has profiled some of the draft prospects that have a chance to be selected in the first five picks on June 28. Danny Ainge and his staff certainly have a lot of options. We will regularly update this page from now until Draft Day so keep checking back for the latest buzz on the top prospects.
