2007 Draft Prospects - Jeff Green

Green was the leading scorer and emotional leader on a Georgetown team that won the Big East title and reached the Final Four in the NCAA tournament before losing to Greg Oden, Mike Conley and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Green is another versatile wing player with great skills on both ends of the floor.

Strengths:

Green can pretty much do a little bit of everything on the basketball floor. He is highly versatile and is suited to play a point forward role in the NBA with his ball skills and passing ability. Green is a very intelligent player and should have little difficulty picking up NBA sets right away. He has the ability and desire to make his teammates better.

Weaknesses:

Green can defer too much and, as a result, can disappear in games. He is not a natural scorer and really only looks to shoot when needed. He is much more comfortable facilitating scoring options for teammates. Green doesn't have one standout skill.

Skinny:

Green is another safe pick likely to go in the lottery. He projects to be the perfect complimentary player on a winning team. There aren't many players with his size, versatility and overall skill set in the League. He's a sure fire lottery pick and should get Top 5 pick consideration.
