The Internet Operations Intern will assist us in publishing Celtics.com in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Celtics.com is the official website of the Boston Celtics and is continuously updated with the latest news, features, videos, scores, results and information about the team.
The intern will assist the Internet Operations Manager in daily website publishing tasks, and contribute articles for the website. Website publishing experience is required; candidates should have background with HTML publishing for websites or blogs and broadcast email campaigns. Interns should have a strong interest in NBA basketball and a basic understanding of sports media and public relations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in online publishing and communications to get hands on experience at a professional sports team and the opportunity to work on a high profile, public website.
To qualify for an internship position with the Boston Celtics, all participants must be enrolled in a degree program, undergraduate (Junior or Senior year only) or graduate. Each candidate must be eligible to receive course credit toward their degree for the successful completion of such internship. All internships are non-compensated.
