Joining Perkins and Scalabrine were members of the Celtics All-Star Reading Team including Representative Tony Garand from New England Eye Center.

"Encouraging children to develop a love of reading is very important," Perkins explained. "It is a skill they will utilize for the rest of their lives. Reading helps us expand our horizons and enables us to learn about many different things."
