Celtics Can't Stop Lopez, Fall to Nets in Brooklyn
C's Run Comes Up Short
A Boston run cut Brooklyn's lead to two possessions in the fourth quarter on Tuesday night, but the Nets responded and downed the Celtics 104-96 at Barclays Center. The C's couldn't find an answer for Brooklyn's Brook Lopez, who scored 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting.
The Celtics again displayed team-oriented offense in the loss, as all of their starters scored in double-figures. Avery Bradley led the team in scoring with 22 points and Brandon Bass logged the game's only double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.
