2010 Walgreens/Cavaliers/Lake Erie Monsters Youth Clinic Sweepstakes
(1) No purchase necessary.
(2) Sweepstakes open to residents who reside within a 75 mile radius of Quicken Loans Arena and who are 18 years of age or older with an eligible child aged 6-14, except employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of Cavaliers Operating Company, LLC (“Cleveland Cavaliers”), Cavaliers Hockey Holdings, LLC (“the Lake Erie Monsters”), Walgreens, Udderly Smooth, Pepsi, Monster, Gorant's, Elmore Smith BBQ Sauce, Disc Genie, Dan Dee, Million Tea, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., (all together herein after the “NBA Entities”) and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents.
(3) The 2010 Walgreens/Cavaliers/Lake Erie Monsters Youth Clinic Sweepstakes Period begins at 12:00 midnight Eastern Time (“ET”) on Monday, July 26, 2010 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on Monday, August 9, 2010 (the "Sweepstakes Closing Date"). There are two (2) methods of entry:
a) fill out an official entry form available at www.theqarena.com/walgreens
b) Mail in a 3 x 5 card containing name, address, city, state, zip, daytime contact number, e-mail address and birth date to 2010 Walgreens/Cavaliers/Lake Erie Monsters Youth Clinic Sweepstakes, One Center Court, Cleveland, OH 44115.
Entries limited to one per person per child. Entry must be completely filled out to be considered eligible. One drawing will be held. Entries must be received by August 9, 2010 to be eligible for the August 10, 2010 drawing. Winners will be chosen at random and will be notified via telephone by a Cavaliers representative. In the event the winner cannot be contacted within ten (10) days of the sweepstakes closing date or declines the prize another winner will be chosen at random among remaining eligible entries.
Neither the Cleveland Cavaliers nor the Lake Erie Monsters assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost/delayed/garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ and/or Lake Erie Monsters’ opinion, this Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Cleveland Cavaliers and/or the Lake Erie Monsters reserve the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend the Sweepstakes (or the online portion thereof, if applicable) and, in such event, to select a winner for the prize by randomly drawing from among all valid entries received, up to such time of cancellation, termination, or suspension, or solely from the mailed entries. The Cleveland Cavaliers and/or the Lake Erie Monsters further reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud or other failure destroys the integrity of the Sweepstakes.
(4) There will be one hundred (100) first prize winners selected – fifty (50) winners of children age 6-10 and fifty (50) winners of children age 11-14. Each winner will receive the opportunity for their child to participate in a youth basketball and hockey clinic that will take place at Quicken Loans Arena on Friday, August 20, 2010. Date and time are subject to change. In the event that a winner cannot participate on the designated clinic date, no other prize substitution will be issued. Clinic participants will be responsible for providing their own attire (athletic shorts, shirt and rubber soled sneakers). Please note that the hockey portion will take place on concrete so full hockey gear/ice skates will not be necessary. The winning prize is non-transferable to any other person, including relatives or friends.
(5) Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the game, unless otherwise indicated. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize permitted except at the Cleveland Cavaliers option for a prize of comparable or greater value.
(6) Approximate retail value of each first prize is: $0.
(7) Chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received within each age grouping.
