FREE Preseason Action at The Q
CLEVELAND, OH - That’s amore’! The Cavaliers and the Cleveland Clinic will show fans the love by offering FREE tickets to see the Cavs take on Italian basketball powerhouse Montepaschi Siena at The Q on Monday, October 8th at 7:00 p.m. The match up will be an exciting first preseason outing as fans watch the Cavs face the reigning Italian League Serie A Champion and Euroleague contender in a test of competitive spirit between the international opponents.
“This will be a great opportunity for fans to see the Cavaliers compete for the first time this season, and thanks to our long-standing partnership with the Cleveland Clinic, we are excited to open up the game to all fans for free!,” said Len Komoroski, Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena president.
The free reserved seat tickets (six ticket limit per person) are available now at Cavs.com via the convenience of Flash Seats. Flash Seats is the Cavaliers official electronic ticketing system that allows fans to enter Quicken Loans Arena with just a swipe of their electronic ID (typically a credit card or driver’s license). Fans can also get tickets at the Quicken Loans Arena box office.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. so fans can enjoy the excitement of being back at The Q for Cavs basketball. The night will feature the fun and festivities of a regular season game including performances by the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team, and The Q’s main concourse will offer a playground of interactive games and activities for every age.
In addition to the free October 8th game, on sale now are two more preseason home games at Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday, October 13th vs. the Washington Wizards at 7:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, October 23rd vs. the Indiana Pacers at 7:00 p.m. Also on sale, Cavaliers single game tickets for the first half of 2012-13 NBA season starting at just $10.
