Cavaliers Entertainment Headed to NBA All-Star Weekend

Several familiar faces of the Cavaliers Game Entertainment Team are stamping their passports to Canada this week! Cavaliers in-arena host and hype man Ahmaad Crump, PA Announcer Olivier Sedra, Cavalier Girl Elizabeth and The QStix drumline have been invited by the NBA to partake in the lineup of 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities which run from Friday, February 12th to Sunday, February 14th in Toronto, ON. The participation of the talented personalities symbolizes the league-wide recognition that the Cavaliers Game Entertainment Team continues to earn.

"We are so excited and honored to have Ahmaad, Olivier, Elizabeth and The QStix bring Wine & Gold spirit to Toronto. Their dedication and passion for their craft shines with each performance," said Tracy Marek, Cavaliers CMO. "The Cavaliers family is very proud to have them represent the entire Cavs Game Entertainment Team and all of our fans during All-Star Weekend."

Third time is the charm for Crump who has been invited by the NBA twice before (2010, 2011) to emcee events. Crump is in his 11th season with the Cavaliers as in-arena host and hype man, where he uses his special ability to engage and pump up the best fans in the NBA at Quicken Loans Arena. In Toronto, he will serve as the host of the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Mountain Dew, NBA All-Star Practice, Jr. NBA Pep Rally, NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest and the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire. On Sunday, February 14th Crump will assist in hosting various promotions during the 2016 NBA All-Star Game.

Sedra will make his NBA All-Star Weekend debut this year. Sedra's booming voice has joined the roar of the crowd at Cavs games for 10 seasons, as PA announcer. He also brings his energy and enthusiasm to the ice, as the Lake Erie Monster's in-arena host. In Toronto, Sedra will call the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Mountain Dew, NBA All-Star Practice and Jr. NBA Pep Rally.

Cavalier Girl Elizabeth is a team captain and second year member of the Cavalier Girls. She will represent the popular dance team in Toronto and perform at various events throughout the weekend with other dancers from around the league.

The QStix have been invited by the NBA to bring their rhythm pounding performance to the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and Foot Locker Three-Point Contest. The QStix have been using buckets, trashcans and anything else to create a body-moving beat on The Q's concourse and hardwood for the past two seasons.
