Cavaliers Host Official NBA Draft Lottery Night
Fans Invited to Watch Live Lottery Coverage on ESPN with
Cavs Broadcasters and Cavs Game Entertainment Crew!
Tuesday, May 21st— Doors Open at 6:00 p.m.
Cavs fans are invited to gather at Bar Louie in downtown Cleveland (1352 W. 6th St.) for the Official Cavaliers 2013 NBA Draft Lottery Night presented by Budweiser on Tuesday, May 21st starting at 6:00 p.m. With all TVs tuned to live coverage of the NBA Draft Lottery on ESPN at 8:30 p.m., everyone will be watching to see how the ping pong balls will bounce to determine when the Cavaliers will make their first selection in the NBA Draft on June 27th.
Join Cavs broadcasters and legends Austin Carr, Campy Russell and Jim Chones, along with Cavs radio play-by-play announcer John Michael as they share their insights and commentary. Cavs in-game arena host Ahmaad, members of the Cavalier Girls and Scream Team, mascots Moondog and Sir C.C. will all be there to mix and mingle with fans as they watch the outcome of the 2013 NBA Draft Lottery together.
There will be giveaways and contests with the chance to win MANY prizes throughout the night, including a 2013-14 Wine & Gold United Membership (season ticket package), and a private party for 20 at Bar Louie for the Cavs 2013-14 home opener. The WMMS 100.7 FM Street Team will be on site with their prize wheel for even more chances to win, and with the purchase of a beverage BAR LOUIE WILL OFFER $1.00 BURGERS ALL NIGHT LONG! In addition to tasty burgers, $3 Budweiser 16 oz. drafts will be the special drink on tap for the evening.
The Cavs currently have one lottery pick (could be as high as #1, but no lower than #6) in the draft, plus an additional first round pick (#19 overall), and two of the first three picks in the second round (#31 and #33 overall), giving the Cavs four of the top 33 picks. The lottery drawing on May 21st will determine which specific lottery pick the Cavaliers will receive.
