CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Cavaliers will hold a 2013-14 NBA preseason contest at the Canton Memorial Civic Center when they host the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. This will be the second consecutive year in which the Cavaliers will play a preseason contest at the home of their exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League affiliate, the Canton Charge.

“We were thrilled with the fan reception and atmosphere during last year’s preseason game in Canton and are really looking forward to bringing the Cavaliers back to play in front of the Stark County community who have embraced us and the Charge so enthusiastically,” said Cavaliers Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Kerry Bubolz.

In their first-ever visit to Canton last season, the Cavaliers hosted the Milwaukee Bucks in preseason action before a sellout crowd at the Memorial Civic Center.
