Dion's 20 Team-Highs from 2012-13

In just his fourth game as a pro, Waiters made his Hollywood debut against the Clippers on November 5, 2012 netting 20 of his 28 points in the second half and willing the Wine and Gold to a 108-101 win over L.A. at the Staples Center.
Two games after his performance in L.A., Waiters poured in a team-high 23 points on 9-13 shooting in 31 minutes.
In his first visit to the Sunshine State as a Cavalier, Waiters led the Wine and Gold with 25 points while adding five dimes.
The very next night in Miami, Waiters netted a team-high 16 points in 38 minutes against the Heat.
Dion was fearless against one of the best defenses in the league, scoring a team-high 15 points versus the Memphis Grizzlies.
Waiters came up big in a late December matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks on the road. The rookie scored a team-high 18 points, and as a team, the Cavs were +14 in the scoring column when he was on the floor.
The Cavaliers fourth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft put up a team-high 18 points against a stingy Chicago Bulls defense on the road. Waiters was efficient, shooting 6-11 from the field and a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe.
On Dion's second trip to Hollywood, Waiters once again led the Wine and Gold in scoring with 15 points in a mid-January matchup against the Lakers.
The next night, Waiters would enjoy his best game as a pro in Sacramento. Dion bucketed a career-high 33 points on 12-18 shooting and dished out five assists in 29 minutes against the Kings.
For the third time in four games, Waiters would go on to lead the Cavaliers in scoring with 23 points against the Jazz in Utah. Waiters did most of his damage at the free throw line going 10-12 (.833).
For the fourth time in his brief career, Dion led the Cavaliers in scoring against a team from California, dropping 18 points against the Golden State Warriors at The Q on January 29, 2013.
Against one of the best defenses in the league, Waiters had a solid all-around game. Not only did Dion score a team-high 20 points, but the rook also added six rebounds and four assists against the San Antonio Spurs.
For the second time in Miami, Waiters led the Wine and Gold in scoring with 26 points on 11-17 shooting (.647).
Two nights later in Chicago, Waiters led the Cavaliers to a big road victory against the Bulls. Dion tallied a team-high 25 points on 10-16 (.625) shooting in 36 minutes.
For the third straight game, Waiters led the Wine and Gold in scoring with 23 points while adding six assists.
The Syracuse standout had the Clippers number in his rookie season. After pouring in 28 points in their first matchup with L.A., Waiters scored a team-high 17 points. The game marked Dion's fourth straight game in which he led the Wine and Gold in scoring.
Traveling north of the border, Waiters once again led the Cavaliers in scoring with 21 points against the Raptors on March 10, 2013.
In a victory against the Washington Wizards, Waiters went 10-14 (.714) from the charity stripe on his way to leading the Cavaliers with a team-high 20 points.
In the Wine and Gold's next game, Dion netted a team-high 21 points on the road against the Dallas Mavericks. The game would mark the 14th time Waiters led the team in scoring while on the road during his rookie season.
In the Cavaliers final home game of the 2012-13 season, Waiters (along with Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson) scored 16 points against the Miami Heat. The game was the 20th time Dion led or tied the Cavaliers in scoring.
