Play-by-play announcer Fred McLeod speaks with forward Alonzo Gee about improving his game and his plans for the offseason months.
Cavs fans don’t need any convincing that just about anything can happen in the NBA Lottery.
The Cavaliers have won the Lottery when they were supposed to, won it when they weren’t supposed to and they’ve benefitted big from Clippers wheelings and dealings in two different generations.
One of those occasions was just one year ago, when the Wine and Gold – in the person of 14-year-old Nick Gilbert – dramatically defied the odds and won the No. 1 overall pick with the Clippers’ entry, one that had a mere 2.8 percent chance to succeed.

Cavs.com takes a look back at the highlights of forward Omri Casspi's 2011-12 campaign.
CLEVELAND, OH - The night will be filled with fun and anticipation when Cavs fans gather at Cadillac Ranch in downtown Cleveland (200 Euclid Ave.) for the Official Cavaliers 2012 NBA Draft Lottery Viewing Party presented by Budweiser on Wednesday, May 30th starting at 7:00 p.m. With all TVs tuned to live coverage of the NBA Draft Lottery on ESPN at 8:00 p.m. everyone will be watching to see how the ping pong balls will bounce to determine when the Cavaliers will pick in the NBA Draft on June 28th.
CLEVELAND – Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving was the only unanimous selection to the 2011-12 NBA All-Rookie First Team and forward/center Tristan Thompson was named to the All-Rookie Second Team, the NBA announced today.
Season Overview: There’s little question that Cavs forward Omri Casspi never quite found his rhythm with the Wine and Gold in his first year with the squad.
Casspi was acquired in a trade with Sacramento – along with a protected 1st round draft pick from the Kings in exchange for J.J. Hickson – just days before the NBA lockout. With abbreviated Training Camps not tipping off until mid-December, Casspi didn’t get a real chance to gel with his new squad until the helter-skelter season began.
