There was a moment in the game’s second half where it looked like what happened in the Cavaliers’ matchup with the D-League Select Squad in Vegas would stay in Vegas. But Donald Sloan’s fourth-quarter push helped the Wine and Gold pull away to even their Summer League record at 1-1.

Sloan, getting his second straight start in place of Kyrie Irving – who fractured a bone in his right hand during a summer league practice over the weekend – finished with 19 points. Sloan, a former D-Leaguer himself, went 5-for-8 from the floor and 8-of-10 from the stripe.
