Six area high school basketball teams will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of competing on a professional NBA court in front of a cheering crowd of family, friends and fans when the Cleveland Cavaliers host the 2nd Annual High School Hoops Showcase on Sunday, December 2nd at Quicken Loans Arena.
Tristan Thompson is off to a solid start in his sophomore season – back at his natural position and playing next to Anderson Varejao, the big man from Texas has posted double-doubles in his last two contests.
The affable Toronto native took a minute from practice to answer this week’s Player Mailbox – where Tristan took your questions and is ready with his responses, covering issues ranging from Canadian basketball to his NBA2k skills to his three-point shooting skills in high school.

To say the Grizzlies are one of the biggest surprises of the early NBA season would seem like an overstatement based upon their success over the past couple of seasons; however, as of November 20th, Memphis is tied for best record in a competitive Western Conference.
