HOUSTON, TX – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sprint tipped off 2013 NBA All-Star Balloting today during a special event in Houston, the Official Host City of NBA All-Star 2013. NBA All-Star Balloting presented by Sprint will begin today at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Cavaliers backup point guard Donald Sloan is one of the Wine and Gold’s more laid-back players. But on the hardwood, he’s one of the club’s toughest scrappers.
The Dallas native played four years for Texas A&M and was part of the Aggies’ all-time most successful class and earned several all-Big 12 honors. Before coming to Cleveland midway through last season, Sloan had short stints with Sacramento and Atlanta, but also spent time playing in the D-League and the Philippines.
The Cleveland Cavaliers (2-5) will wrap up their six-game road trip tonight in their first-ever meeting with the Brooklyn Nets (3-2) at the Barclays Center, tip off at 7:30 p.m.
The Wine and Gold look to end a three-game losing streak while the Nets are looking to notch their third-straight victory.
