Anderson Varejao – practiced today (right knee contusion) and is listed as PROBABLE for tomorrow night’s game against the Suns in Phoenix.

Wrap-Up – The Cavaliers – already shorthanded without an injured Anderson Varejao and Tyler Zeller – put themselves at an even bigger disadvantage when they spotted Golden State a 16-point lead after one quarter. The Wine and Gold battled back, tying the score at 65-apiece on Alonzo Gee’s three-point play midway through the third. The Cavs even took a brief lead, but the Warriors pulled away down the stretch– handing Cleveland the 106-96 loss on Wednesday night in Oakland.

Immediately prior to tonight’s game against the Warriors, Cavaliers forward/center Anderson Varejao was moved to the Inactive List due to soreness in his right knee. The soreness is a result of a right knee contusion experienced during the first quarter of the Cavs game against the Clippers on Monday night (Varejao continued to play and finished the game). He is receiving treatment and his status will be updated as appropriate.
