The Cavaliers dropped their Thursday night meeting against Minnesota, but they turned in easily the most inspiring and entertaining quarters of Summer League so far.

Flat through three quarters and trailing the T-Wolves by 20, 61-41, a pair of former Big East adversaries – Samardo Samuels and Luke Harangody – keyed an 18-6 run to get Cleveland back in the ballgame. They cut Minnesota’s lead to six late in the fourth, but Derrick Williams’ late push propelled Minnesota to the 78-65 win.

What’s up, Cavalier fans? It’s Tristan, checking in from Summer League!

We’re almost ready to wrap up out here in Vegas. We take on Minnesota on Thursday night and New York on Friday and then back home.

I love the opportunity to get an offseason to work with teammates and coaches. Kyrie and I didn’t have that last year. We didn’t really get into the flow until December.
