The Cavaliers (4-13) are back on the road for the 12th time this season to face the Detroit Pistons (5-13) from the Palace of Auburn Hills at 7:30 p.m. ET.
On Saturday, the Cavs lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, 118-117, in a hard-fought, double-overtime contest while the Pistons dropped their second-consecutive game, falling to the Dallas Mavericks, 92-77.
CLEVELAND, OH - Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters sustained a left ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of Saturday night's game against Portland at The Q. X-rays taken at the arena last night were negative. Waiters had a follow up exam today at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health, including an MRI, that confirmed the left ankle sprain. He is receiving treatment, will travel with the team to Detroit this afternoon and is currently listed as Questionable (50/50) for tomorrow night’s game against the Pistons.

“It was a tough one. I thought our guys played hard. I didn’t think we played very smart. We went against all the principles that we talk about doing on a day-to-day basis. We had about 30 mistakes defensively and when you have that many, it’s going to be hard to win basketball games.”
