October 29, 2007 -The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard/forward Demetris Nichols to a contract. Nichols, 23, played in five preseason games for the New York Knicks and averaged 4.8 points on .571 (8-14) shooting including .667 (4-6) from three-point range in 7.8 minutes per game. He was originally selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 53rd overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. In addition, the Cavaliers waived forward Noel Felix who played in three preseason games for Cleveland and averaged 2.7 points and 1.0 rebound per game.

October 27, 2007 -The Cleveland Cavaliers waived guard Hassan Adams and forward Darius Rice, General Manager Danny Ferry announced today. Adams played in three preseason games for the Cavs, averaging 2.7 ppg, 0.7 rpg and 0.3 apg in 6.3 mpg. Rice appeared in three games and averaged 1.7 ppg and 2.3 rpg in 7.3 minutes.
Mason
October 12, 2007 -The Cavaliers have waived guard Chet Mason. He played a total of three minutes in one preseason game.
