
The Cavaliers summer roster consists of 15 players and will be coached by Cavaliers assistant coach Mark Osowski. The team also includes NBA veterans Dan Langhi, Jason Miskiri and Dean Oliver as well as several rookie free agents. The squad will participate in a three-day mini camp at Gund Arena on July 3-5 before embarking on a two-week road trip to Orlando and Las Vegas, competing in five games in each city against other NBA entries.
In their summer opener at the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando on July 6, the Cavaliers will face host Orlando and Dwight Howard, the top overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. This is the second straight year that the Cavaliers have begun their summer in Orlando and marks their first trip to Las Vegas for the inaugural Reebok Vegas Summer League.
