CLEVELAND, OHIO -- The Cleveland Cavaliers will participate in the 10-team Rocky Mountain Revue, which will be played in Salt Lake City, Utah from July 20-27. The Cavs contingent will be arriving in Utah on Monday, July 16. They will begin practicing in Salt Lake City with two-a-day practices on Tuesday, July 17. The Cavaliers will play the first of their six games on Friday, July 20. The Cavs vs. Portland Trail Blazers game on Tuesday, July 24, will be broadcast live on ESPN2 starting at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

The Cavaliers are anticipating participation from 16 players. DeSagana Diop, Trajan Langdon and Chris Mihm, who are under contract with the Cavs, will be joined by Jeff Trepagnier, the Cavs second round draft pick (36th overall pick) in the 2001 NBA Draft and 12 free agents. The free agent invitees are: Chris Andersen, Joe Brown, Sharif Fajardo, Michael McDonald, Anthony Miller, Silas Mills, DeMarcus Minor, Milos Paravinja, Jamal Robinson, Paul Shirley, Jermaine Walker and Tyson Wheeler.

Langdon played in 65 games last season with the Cavs and averaged 6.0 ppg in 17.2 minutes per game while shooting team-highs of .895 (68-76) FT% and .411 (51-124) three-point FG%. In 75 career contests, Langdon is averaging 5.8 ppg. Mihm was selected to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team for 2000-01. He played in 59 games (43 starts) as a rookie, averaging 7.6 ppg and 4.7 rebounds per game. Among rookies, Mihm ranked fourth in rebounding, fourth in FT% at .794 (100-126), fifth in FG% at .442 (173-391), seventh in blocks (0.90 bpg), 10th in minutes (19.8 mpg) and 11th in scoring. Diop, the eighth overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, signed a contract with the Cavs on July 5. Diop was a Parade Magazine High School Boys All-America First Team selection and was named to the McDonald's High School All-America Team following his senior year at Oak Hill Academy High School in Mouth of Wilson, Va. He averaged 14.6 ppg, 13.2 rpg and 8.0 bpg this past season in leading Oak Hill Academy to a 33-0 record and a No. 1 national ranking by USA Today.

Games during the 2001 Rocky Mountain Revue will be played at Salt Lake Community College.
