CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The NBA's Eastern Conference has recently been looked at as the little brother to the loaded and deep Western Conference.
The Golden State Warriors have helped punctuate the reign of supremacy, starting 15-0 this season, a few months after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. It was the second straight year the West raised the title banner and fifth in the last seven years.
There have been jokes made and nicknames given. Brief conversations have started about changing the playoff format to counter the imbalance.
"There's always been a conversation," LeBron James said. "Obviously our conference has always been downplayed the last couple years and we've kind of taken it personal." - CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving is a father, announcing the exciting news on Instagram and Facebook Tuesday night.
Irving, who continues to recover following surgery on a fractured kneecap, was excused before Monday's 117-103 win against the Orlando Magic. One day later, he showed the reason, posting a picture of him holding newborn baby girl Azurie Elizabeth Irving, who was born Monday.
He also sent a heartfelt message.
"Azurie Elizabeth Irving, 35 hours of labor from her great mother and she came into the world to bring a shine to my world that I never thought was possible," Irving wrote. "I love you so much, and my heart grew the first time I felt your heart against mine. Mommy, I gave her your name because I know you will bless her and our family the same way you blessed me. I love you." - CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- LeBron James sent personalized letters to each of the more than 1,000 Akron children in his mentorship program for Thanksgiving, recognizing in the letter that some of them are struggling in school.
James and the Cavaliers are gone for Thanksgiving this season, with road games Wednesday in Toronto and Friday in Charlotte (without getting too deep into it, league travel rules essentially require the team to fly directly to Charlotte).
So on Nov. 12, James signed letters addressed to each child involved in the LeBron James Family Foundation, which seeks to keep children enrolled and attending Akron Public Schools, reminding them of two of the program's biggest hits from this past year and sharing with them the things in his life for which James is thankful. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
