"CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Chicago Bulls assistant coach Adrian Griffin will interview with the Cavaliers today for their head coaching vacancy. He is believed to be the first coach to actually interview for the position.

Los Angeles Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue will interview later this week, followed by former Memphis coach Lionel Hollins. The Cavs also asked permission to speak to Clippers associate head coach Alvin Gentry, but it's unclear if an interview with him has been scheduled.

After weeks of rumors and reaching out to gauge interest, the Cavs appear to be getting closer to finding a replacement for Mike Brown, who was fired on May 12." - CLICK HERE to read full story.

"Some in the national media have nominated Bulls assistant coach Adrian Griffin a leading candidate for the Cavaliers’ vacant head-coaching job.

Griffin, 39, will interview with the Cavs on May 27, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.

He’s been an assistant under Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau since 2010.

"The Cavaliers will interview several candidates within the next week or so for their head-coaching vacancy, according to several reports.

FOX Sports1 NBA Insider and Yahoo Sports columnist Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Cavs will interview Los Angeles Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue later this week.
