ATLANTA – In Game 1 it was J.R. Smith and his eight three-pointers that made the difference. In Game 2 it was Iman Shumpert and his four three-pointers.

"Next man up" is their motto and that's what occurred as the wounded Cleveland Cavaliers played terrible guest in thrashing the Atlanta Hawks 94-82 on Friday night to take a commanding 2-0 Eastern Conference Finals series lead.

ATLANTA -- LeBron James, the biggest and – why not? – the greatest point guard since the heyday of Magic Johnson, brought his own mastery of passing angles, floor vision, and kinetic abracadabra to Philips Arena Friday night in the second game of the Eastern Conference finals.

Usually, James plays all over the place, almost shape-shifting from small forward/shooting guard to the Johnson double of point guard/power forward. But with Kyrie Irving on the bench, defeated this night by his ongoing battle against injury, James assumed the role of playmaker.

James Worthy wasn't flying down the wing before a celebrity-studded front row of Hollywood A listers, but the results were similar to the Showtime Los Angeles Lakers, as the Cavs rolled to a 2-0 lead with a 94-82 rout. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
