CLEVELAND, Ohio - They're not the most talented group by any stretch of the imagination, but the 76ers play hard, and the Cavaliers found that out as they survived an upset, 87-86 Sunday night at The Q.

Nerlens Noel missed a baby hook over the contested arms of Tristan Thompson that could have given Philadelphia (18-56) the lead with a few seconds left on the clock. That sealed the game for Cleveland (48-27) and the home winning streak was extended to 16.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Following a rough stretch away from Quicken Loans Arena, the Cleveland Cavaliers returned home, looking to extend their winning streak to 16 games in front of the hometown faithful.

In a shield-your-eyes performance, they escaped with a narrow one-point win against the dreadful Philadelphia 76ers.

CLEVELAND - LeBron James led all players with 20 points in a battle of ineptitude won by the Cavaliers over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers (18-56) have been inept all season. Cleveland, just for most of its 87-86 win on Sunday.

James contributed 11 rebounds, six assists, and is just two points from passing Patrick Ewing (24,815 points) for 20th on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
