CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Cavs start a stretch of three games in four nights, in three different cities no less, tonight against the Charlotte Hornets.

Under normal circumstances, this would be the time when the team would sit at least one, if not all of its three stars from at least one game.

But these are not normal times for the Cavs, nor for the NBA. And if Cleveland should decide to sit LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, or Kevin Love from one of the next three games, commissioner Adam Silver says Cavs owner Dan Gilbert has to be involved with the decision. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Larry Sanders' current stay with Cleveland should be brief

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said he had no plans to use Larry Sanders tonight in meaningful minutes against the Charlotte Hornets, and general manager David Griffin said he would re-join the Canton Charge next week.

Sanders is here in Charlotte and will be in uniform tonight, but Griffin said he was re-called from the D-League essentially to get a few days around the Cavs -- who are in the middle of a stretch of six games out of seven on the road.

Sanders played two minutes of one game for the Cavs last week and scored two points with three blocks in his first and only game with the Charge last weekend. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Kevin Love can play in back to backs; Derrick Williams confirmed as Cavs' odd man out

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Kevin Love can resume playing on consecutive nights, and Derrick Williams was told he may not play much for a while.

Love who underwent minor knee surgery Feb. 14 and returned to play March 16, was until now not permitted to play in back-to-back games. The Cavs had one last weekend in Los Angeles, and Love's inability to play in both games started the dominoes falling that led to him, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James all sitting out against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Cavs play tonight in Charlotte and at home Saturday against the Wizards. General manager David Griffin said Love should be available for the Wizards game, provided (obviously) nothing untoward happens Friday. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
