"Keep a close eye on what Kansas center Joel Embiid does in the next couple of weeks.

If his agent shuts him down and doesn’t allow him to work out for the Milwaukee Bucks, who hold the No. 2 pick, and the Philadelphia 76ers, at No. 3, then one could draw the conclusion that he got some kind of guarantee from the Cavaliers.

Cavaliers’ coaching search a month old, still unresolved

"Now more than a month old, the Cavaliers’ coaching search still appears to be going in several directions.

Los Angeles Clippers assistants Tyronn Lue, 37, and Alvin Gentry, 59, reportedly had second interviews Friday with general manager David Griffin. Owner Dan Gilbert was also set to participate.
