Here's what Cleveland Cavaliers Owner Dan Gilbert should say to LeBron James
Author: Terry Pluto
Publication: The Plain Dealer

"If I'm Dan Gilbert and had one meeting to sell LeBron James on coming back to Cleveland, here's how it should be done:

Well, LeBron, a lot can happen in four years.

Did you ever think after The Decision back in 2010 that we'd be having this conversation in 2014? Especially after my email?

Let's get this out of the way: I was mad. It was dumb thing to write because I called you a bunch of names. For the personal attacks, I apologize. It was not my best moment. My guess is that you feel the same way about The Decision Show on ESPN."

How would the Cleveland Cavaliers look with LeBron James in the lineup?
Author: Terry Pluto
Publication: The Plain Dealer

"Let's dream a bit.

Suppose LeBron James showed up in a Cavaliers uniform. How would the team look?

And let's not wander into trading for Kevin Love or other big moves.

Just add James.

The Cavs will have to dump some contracts. Let's subtract Jarrett Jack. New General Manager David Griffin has been trying to trade the veteran guard since February."

Come Home LeBron expresses confidence in a return -- all in Comic Sans
Author: Jodie Valade
Publication: The Plain Dealer

"It's right there, in all its Comic Sans glory, the hope, the plea, the fingers crossed for LeBron James to come back to Cleveland.

And there's a definite confidence the four-time MVP will be wearing a Cavaliers jersey by fall.

"See you guys on opening day when LeBron throws up the white chalk again," it reads.

No, it's not from Dan Gilbert, this time. If you click over to ComeHomeLeBron.com, you'll see the mission statement and desires (yes, in Comic Sans) from the group organized nine months ago in an attempt to let James know that Cleveland would welcome him back with open arms.
