FRESNO, Calif. – The Cleveland Cavaliers announced on Thursday that center Timofey Mozgov underwent a right knee arthroscopic debridement on Wednesday.

The team is calling it a successful surgery and expects the big man to return to basketball-related activities in six weeks.

Mozgov had the surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Marymount Surgicenter and Dr. Richard Parker and James Rosneck performed the procedure. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov had successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Thursday at the Cleveland Clinic Marymount Surgicenter, the team announced in a news release.

Mozgov, acquired by the Cavs in a trade with the Denver Nuggets in January, is expected to miss about six weeks and be fully recovered in time for the beginning of training camp for the 2015-16 season.
