'Believeland' director says LeBron James' 'Decision' dead after Finals triumph

LOS ANGELES – Most of the last 15 minutes of "Believeland" are devoted to LeBron James.

When the Cavs won the NBA Finals in June, filmmaker Andy Billman re-opened the reel of his 90-minute, ESPN Films 30-for-30 breakdown of 52 years of Cleveland sports misery to change the ending.

James and the Cavs beat the Warriors, of course. Clevelanders danced in the streets. And, you may remember, there was a big parade.

But what if Billman, "Believeland" director, were just starting work on the documentary now, for the first time. Cleveland Cavaliers voted as June Person of the Month winner

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Cavaliers have added another title to their resume. The team, which mounted the biggest comeback in the history of the NBA Finals, has been voted by cleveland.com readers as the June Person of the Month winner.

The Cavs overcame a three-game deficit, including winning Game 7, 93-89, over the Golden State Warriors for the franchise's first NBA championship and the city's first major sports championship in 52 years.

The Cavs secured the Person of the Month title with a nearly 84 percent margin over the second-place Lake Erie Monsters. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Kevin Durant's mom set Adam Silver straight on son's joining Golden State Warriors

LOS ANGELES – The Cavs don't seem to be too bothered by Kevin Durant's joining the Golden State Warriors.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver may still have misgivings, but he got a talking to from Durant's mother at the ESPYS Wednesday and now sees a second side.

On July 4, Durant, a league superstar and free agent, announced he'd join the Warriors' three all-stars to create a super team. Durant inked a two-year, $54.3 million deal that includes a player's option, and talk immediately seemed to shift away from the defending champion Cavs to the impending superiority of Golden State. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
