CLEVELAND, Ohio. – Cleveland Cavaliers restricted free agent guard Matthew Dellavedova is receiving some early interest during the start of free agency.

The Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks have all reached out to the camp of the Australian backup point guard to gauge interest, league sources informed cleveland.com.

The Cavaliers have let it be known that they would like to retain his services, but it could potentially get too pricey for them. At this juncture, contract dialogue hasn't taken place. It remains a feeling-out period. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Cavaliers will extend a qualifying offer to backup point guard Matthew Dellavedova that will make him a restricted free agent come July 1, a league source informs cleveland.com.

Cleveland faced a June 30 deadline to issue the $1.4 million qualifying offer. In doing so, the world champs would have three days to match any offers competitors present.

Dellavedova, 25, outplayed the $1.1 million he performed on during the 2015-16 campaign. He had career-high marks of 7.5 points, 4.4 assists and shot the three-ball at 41 percent in 76 games. But he saw relatively little action in the NBA Finals victory over Golden State, replaced by Mo Williams in the final games. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
