CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Now that December 15 has passed, trade discussions will start to heat up as players signed this off-season can officially be moved. The Cavs continue to be active in discussions, pursuing either a big man who can help protect the rim or a wing defender.

On Monday night, the Cavs got a close look at a player who is reportedly available: Lance Stephenson, the mercurial shooting guard with All-Star potential.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cavaliers have been linked to an array of potential trade targets over the last few months.

From a versatile wing defender capable of knocking down outside shots to a rim-protecting big man, Cleveland has let it be known they are in the business of securing a player at each position.

Shawn Marion has been serviceable and steady, but he is playing out of position at shooting guard. In an ideal situation, Marion comes off the bench. However, the Cavaliers have had to modify the arrangement once it was clear that Dion Waiters wasn't a good fit with the starters.

LeBron James to wear Nike shoe designed for local "hero" as part of new campaign

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A new Nike campaign begins today that will highlight the LeBron 12 basketball shoe by featuring a dozen northeast Ohioans identified by LeBron James and the shoe company as local "heroes."

Called the #iDYOURHERO initiative, Nike filmed videos and designed shoes for each of the 12 honorees that will be released over the next 12 days through a targeted digital ad buy, on social media, and posted on Nike's website.

The chosen "heroes" include Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary basketball coach Dru Joyce, who coached James in high school, chef Jonathon Sawyer, owner of The Greenhouse Tavern on E. 4th Street downtown, and Larry Gray, a spokesman for the Cleveland Fire Department. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
