BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Fly over Brunswick and you'll notice the words "Believeland," a profile of LeBron James' head and the Larry O'Brien Trophy carved out of seven-acres of farmland along Pearl Road. Come this Friday, you'll be able to navigate what actually is a corn maze at Mapleside Farms.

"What LeBron, Kyrie, Kevin and the entire Cavs team just accomplished for this entire region was incredible," Mapleside owner Greg Clement said in a release. "The positive effect on everyone has been amazing to see, and it's probably the reason why all three of our boys instantly thought of what LeBron and the Cavs accomplished when we asked them what we should put in our corn maze this year.

"Could we really honor anything else? No way!"

In terms of difficulty, the "Believeland" maze is ideal for kids and their parents, a Mapleside spokesperson said. However, "The LeBron maze is made up of two fields and is for the advanced maze fanatic." - CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The summer of LeBron James continued this week as Starz announced it has picked up his comedy series "Survivor's Remorse" for a fourth season.

The renewal came on the same day that James' reality show "Cleveland Hustles" premiered on CNBC.

"I'm incredibly proud of the team at 'Survivor's Remorse' and what we've built," James, who is an executive producer and has appeared on the show, said in a statement. "The show grew so much this year, attracting new fans and reaching new levels of popularity. I want to thank all the fans who've made 'Survivor's Remorse' a success and the team at Starz for all of their support."

The show, a fictional portrayal about a young basketball player's life after signing a huge pro contract (sound familiar?), has enjoyed ratings increases this season. The first five episodes have averaged 2.9 million viewers on all platforms, a 20-percent increase over season two. According to Starz, it's among the top scripted programs on cable among African-American viewers. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

'Cleveland Hustles' is compelling, with a heck of a cause
Author: Kevin Kleps

“Cleveland Hustles” — LeBron James’ latest gift to Northeast Ohio — has a terrific premise.

The reality show, which debuted on CNBC on Wednesday night, gives four local entrepreneurs the chance to set up a storefront in the Gordon Square Arts District. To get there, a business has to beat out another entrepreneur in a series of challenges outlined by one of four investors — Kumar Arora, Kathy Futey, Alan Glazen and Jonathon Sawyer.

On Wednesday night, (spoiler alert!) Glazen, who seemed genuinely tortured by the decision, selected the Cleveland Bagel Co. over Styles of Success.

Glazen — a former ad man who later founded Glazen Urban, which says it strives to develop “promising inner city areas as both a profitable and a philanthropic organization” — helped to make the debut episode a compelling watch, but it was Chareen Fountain who stole the show. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Publication: USA Today

LeBron James' dream came true in June when he delivered a championship title to the city of Cleveland.

Now he's helping to pay it forward with a new reality show.

Executive produced by James and business partner Maverick Carter, Cleveland Hustles (Wednesday, 10 p.m. ET, CNBC) matches four local business leaders with eight Cleveland-area entrepreneurs. Each leader selects a business to invest in and works with the entrepreneur to open a brick-and-mortar store in underserved Cleveland neighborhoods.

“We’re giving people an opportunity to live out a dream and giving small-business owners a chance to do what they love to do,” said James, who grew up in nearby Akron.

It’s a reality show with a purpose — creating jobs, supporting local businesses and improving neighborhoods. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
