"CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cavaliers will open their 2014-15 season against Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks at Quicken Loans Arena on Oct. 30, the sixth straight year the team opens its season at home.

LeBron James' return to Cleveland will begin in similar fashion to his first NBA home game 11 years ago. In 2003, James' home debut was against Anthony and the Denver Nuggets. The two players came into the league together, are friends and were even rumored to team up this off-season. In the end, Anthony signed a five-year contract to stay with the Knicks, worth nearly $130 million.

The game will be televised on TNT as the new-look Cavs, featuring a talented roster led by James, two-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving and possibly Kevin Love, who is expected to be traded to Cleveland sometime by the end of this month, will make 29 appearances on national television." - CLICK HERE to read full story.
