First and foremost, I want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for your loyalty and commitment to being a part of our Cavaliers’ Family. We are excited and confident about our future, and we never take for granted that our ticket holders like YOU are at the center of it all.

As you probably are well aware, all of the NBA’s efforts are currently focused on reaching an agreement with the NBA Players’ Association. Our goal is a sustainable business model that enables all 30 teams to be able to compete for a championship, fairly compensates our players, and ensures a world-class experience for our fans. In other words, an agreement that is in the best interests of the teams, the players, the fans, and the game.

As a partial plan ticket holder, we understand that you may have questions about the current labor situation and how it affects your investment for the 2011-12 season. That’s why we wanted to let you know that, in the event an agreement is not reached in enough time to avoid games being missed, we have created a special Cavaliers Partial Plan Ticket Holder Loyalty Benefit. Under this Benefit, you will have the opportunity to exchange your tickets for any games missed for future Cavs games during the 2011-2012 season, and you will also receive a complimentary game to use during this season or next if any games are missed. Additionally, if you choose the Loyalty Benefit by Friday, October 28th, you will receive a seating upgrade for your mutually agreed upon complimentary game. This benefit is of NO additional cost to you. A complete description and explanation of this special benefit is included with this letter. If, for some reason, you do not wish to take advantage of the Cavaliers Partial Plan Loyalty Benefit, you will receive a refund in the amount you paid for each game missed, plus simple interest at the annual rate of 1%.

While we hope that this won’t be necessary and we will be playing games as scheduled, we want you to have confidence in knowing a benefit is available to you and will protect and enhance your investment with us. Your current payment plan, seat location(s), account tenure and benefits will all remain firmly intact.

In addition, please be assured that the never-wavering commitment to the highest-level of sustained success for the future of this franchise from Dan Gilbert and our ownership group has NEVER been stronger. The same could be said for Dan’s commitment and investment in Cleveland as a community and our general business landscape as well.
