Cavs PA Announcer Blogs from China on

CLEVELAND, OH - August 5th, 2008 - Fans and friends can follow Cavs public address announcer Olivier Sedra’s adventures from Beijing, China as he blogs his experiences at the 2008 Olympic Games on the team’s new social network Sedra was selected by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to be one of two announcers for the basketball events for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Sedra arrived in Beijing this past weekend and will begin his announcing duties on Saturday, August 9th when the Olympic basketball games begin. Traveling to the other side of the world with his own stash of Jif (which he anticipates will be his staple diet due to China’s “unique and interesting” cuisine), he has titled his blog “The Peanut Butter Dialogue.”

Accompanied by photos and videos, Sedra will journal his experiences from the streets, the venues and the games, as well as talk about the food, the shopping, and the sights and sounds of Beijing.
