Game Summary

The Wine and Gold play their second preseason game in as many nights as they travel to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Cleveland (0-1) has won five of the last six regular season matchups against Philadelphia.

The Cavaliers dropped their 2015 preseason opener last night 98-96 to the Atlanta Hawks in front of a packed house at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, OH. The Cavs dished out 28 assists on 35 made field goals. J.R. Smith tallied a team-high 15 points on 6-10 (.600) shooting from the field, including 3-5 (.600) from long range, four rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks in 22 minutes of action.

Philadelphia (0-1) traveled to the nation's capital on Tuesday for their preseason opener against the Washington Wizards. Sixers forward Nerlens Noel and point guard Isaiah Canaan each scored 13 points as the Washington handed Philadelphia a 129-95 loss.

The Cavaliers took two of three games against the Sixers during the 2014-15 campaign.

The two teams last met on March 29th at The Q as the Wine and Gold came away with a 87-86 victory. The win was Cleveland's 16th consecutive victory at Quicken Loans Arena, tying the 3rd-longest in franchise history.

In that game, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Timofey Mozgov each recorded double-doubles in the win, marking the seventh time that season in which three players tallied a double-double in a game.

The Cavs dominated the Sixers on the glass, holding a 53-45 advantage including 18 offensive rebounds.

The Cavs preseason, presented by Discount Drug Mart, features seven contests, including three games in Cleveland at Quicken Loans Arena (Oct. 13 vs. Milwaukee, Oct. 15 vs. Indiana, Oct. 19 vs. Dallas) and two games on the road in Philadelphia (Oct. 8) and Toronto (Oct. 18).
