Five Keys: Cavaliers at Magic ‑ Dec. 26, 2014
1 / 5In their first full game since starting center Anderson Varejao went down with an Achilles’ injury, the Cavaliers were muscled in the paint against Miami, with the Bosh-less Heat outscoring Cleveland in the paint, 44-28, and on second-chance points, 16-2. The Magic present an even bigger challenge down low in the person of Nikola Vucevic – who’s had some big games against Cleveland, including two double-doubles in the past three meetings and a 21-points, 21-board performance at The Q last April. Kevin Love got the start at center in Miami, but Vucevic – Orlando’s second-leading scorer (18.2 ppg) and top rebounder (11.8) presents a different type of matchup for Cleveland’s starting five. Whoever gets the nod against the Magic’s athletic big man will have his work cut out for him on Friday night.
